  • Remove cobwebs; ensure spotless corners/ceilings.

  • Dust/wipe surfaces, skirtings, ledges, cabinetry; vacuum/steam clean carpets; mop floors.

  • Clean windows, tracks, flyscreens, doors, outlets, fans, A/C units (filters, casings, outdoor condenser).

  • Remove cobwebs; wipe built-in storage.

  • Clean washer/dryer (inside/out), benches, cupboards, sink, taps.

  • Sweep/mop floors; clean windows, sills, flyscreens, fittings, vents.

  • Professional hot-water extraction: pre-vacuum, spot treat stains, steam clean, deodorize, groom fibers for RTA compliance.

Pest Control (Internal):

  • Eco-friendly, pet-safe sprays/baits for ants, cockroaches, spiders in kitchens, bathrooms, skirtings.

Cosmetic Wall Touch-Ups:

  • Minor scuff/mark repairs with low-VOC, color-matched paints (QBCC-compliant, no structural work).

Aluminium Joinery Repairs:

  • Buff minor scratches/dents on window/door frames, appliances.

Key Return Concierge:

  • We liaise with agents/landlords, deliver keys, and provide timestamped photos.

At Move Out Make Overs, we’ve built our reputation on integrity, precision, and helping others in the industry when things don’t go to plan. Recently, we were called in to assist on a bond clean that had gone sideways — a client left with an incomplete job and a property manager – well-being as property managers can be. 

​

When we arrived, it was clear the previous cleaner had over-promised and under delivered. The kitchen needed deep sanitizing, paint scuffs were visible on nearly every wall around a pet dog height, and the agent had already flagged several issues that could have cost the tenant their bond, which should’ve been cleaned.

​

But rather than criticize or undercut another operator, we took a different approach. After speaking with the original cleaning business, we learned they had been short-staffed that weekend and simply couldn’t complete the work to their usual standards.  We are a smaller business and get this completely. We’d also like to see a more workable relationship between cleaning companies that do eat dog as it’s a hard job and often life doesn’t go to plan as we all know.

So, we offered a solution: we’d finish the job — properly — at a discounted rate, ensuring the property passed inspection and the original business didn’t take a total loss. Within 24 hours, the apartment was spotless, walls touched up, carpets steam-cleaned, and the keys returned, again along with before-and-after photos for everyone’s peace of mind.
